David Tasker - Director

Having graduated from university with a degree in French, David then spent the next 35 years in the financial services industry. 

For the majority of that time he worked with advisers on their more complex clients. Now it's time to bring that experience into play for the benefit of clients of his own. David's ambition is to make Hertfordshire Money the first point of call in the county for advice on mortgages and protection.

Outside work, David plays football and tennis but mostly walks Esther the miniature schnauzer with his wife Louisa.

Steve Paterson - Independent Equity Release & Later Life Specialist

Steve is a very experienced Financial Consultant with over 21 Years’ service and experience working within the Finance Sector, particularly regarding building relationships with business and has a track record in delivering high-quality outcomes for customers. 

After working on the Money Advice Service Contract and seeing the confusion on Lifetime Mortgages, Steve developed a passion for (and specialises in) the Equity Release market place.

Scott is not just a Director here at Hertfordshire Money but is also the director of (and the brains behind) both Access 4 Finance & London Money Loans who are independent brokers of secured loans and second charges just like us.

Standing as testament to his drive, commitment and hunger he is one of the youngest directors in the industry and his knowledge of it is unparalleled

He his known for his unorthodox thinking, his personal approach to underwriting being 'you can't digitalise common sense'. Computers may say no, but Scott never likes to.
